Facilities
The School is situated in its own spacious grounds. Much of the school has either been built or re-built over the last few years, resulting in high quality accommodation to meet the needs of all of our pupils.
The main school buildings are high quality single story accommodation, currently housing 11 main classrooms, each with it’s own secure, outdoor space. In addition there are a number of additional teaching spaces offering a range of teaching opportunities for smaller groups or individuals. Each class is well equipped including ceiling mounted hoisting and is served by toilets and hygiene changing rooms.
Facilities include a dining hall, two assembly halls, cookery room, three sensory rooms, medical room, multisensory hydrotherapy pool, Communication and Interaction suite, mechanical horse, a sports hall, resource library and soft play room. The landscaped grounds offer facilities for recreation and play. This includes playgrounds, an inclusive adventure play area, woodland walk, playing field and sensory gardens.
Two houses (Carr Cottage and Bradbury House) provide an excellent base for all of our Sixth form pupils.
The school also runs three accessible mini-buses to enable pupils to regularly access the community.
Specialised and Personalised Training Services (SPTS) are based in a high quality, purpose built Training Centre on site. Here, the team run and host training for staff of Fiveways and external candidates. Click here for more information.
The Fiveways School Trust has played an important part in attracting funding to enable the school to achieve its ambitions of providing these high quality facilities– inside and out. Click here for more information.
