Pupils with Severe Learning difficulties (between the age of 4 – 19 years) will be eligible for admission to Fiveways School.
Admissions to the school will take place through close and joint working between the Local Authority (LA) and the school, with the Statutory panel of the LA or Special Needs Tribunal making the final decision on placement.
The admissions process is as follows:
- Parents and carers are encouraged to discuss an admission during an informal visit and tour of the school.
- Receipt of proposed Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP), discussion with Casework Officer and consultation within school.
- Local Authority Statutory Panel decision on placement.
- School informed.
- School Entry Plan meeting arranged to ensure a successful transition into school.
If you are interested in finding out more about the school for your son or daughter, please do contact the school to arrange a visit. We can easily arrange a tour, so that you can experience the life and atmosphere of the school first hand.
We would like to show you our school and answer your questions.
